Police K9Decoy School
Three immersive days of decoy training for police K9s. Learn effective methods to bring out the best in the apprehension K9 by building drive and confidence. Learn things to avoid so as not to injure or otherwise hinder a dog. We will discuss problem solving and – better yet – how to prevent problems from developing in the first place. Meeting at our Training Facility at 717 Beaver Hollow Rd, Spencer, IN. Taught by Master Trainer and owner of Conifer K9, Tim Miller. 9am-4pm or so. Lunch break 12-1; students responsible for their own lunch (restaurants less than 10 mins away). Working spot: $350; bringing a working dog encouraged but not required – lectures plus bitework. AccelerationDays
These are free days of refresher training/lecture for our Dog Trainer College graduates. Grads must be current on their school bill (if any). Master Trainer grads can attend all 3 days, otherwise: 9/9 is for Obedience and Service Dog trainer grads. 9/10 is for K9 Instructor, Scent/Cadaver Detection and Protection Dog trainer grads. 9/11 is Master Trainers only. RSVP by 8/31/26.
