Here is a list of events scheduled at Conifer Canine. Unless otherwise noted, these events are held at the Training Center, 717 Beaver Hollow Rd, Spencer, IN. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the Office.

Ongoing Bitework Workshop
The Apprehension Dog Workshop meets every Monday at 3pm at our Training Center. This is designed for clients who have a clear goal of producing a solid protection dog and working dog enthusiasts who desire to work their dogs in realistic bitework training. Pre-registration is required. $100/month. Email us to preregister.

Classes begin for the K9 Handler School, K9 Instructor, Cadaver Detection, and Scent Detection courses.
April 8, 2023
Decoying Techniques Workshop. 9am-12pm, 1pm-3pm (approx 5 hours). $75. This is a hands-on class into realistic (not competition) decoy/helper skills. It will also include some lecture-style information on the decoy’s job, demonstrations, and attendee participation. Preregistration by April 1 is required. Email us to preregister. We will send an email invoice for the $75. There is a one-hour break for lunch.

How to Use an E-Collar Seminar. 9am-approx 12pm. $50. This seminar will discuss the misconceptions and fears of using an E-collar, the right and wrong way of using one, how to use it without hindering the dog, and how it can effectively boost the dog’s confidence and strengthen the human/canine bond. Preregistration is required by April 15. Email us to preregister. We will send an email invoice for the $50.

German Shepherd Day. 9am-2pm. Come and go as you please; stay for 10 minutes or 5 hours! This is a FREE day for our clients who have purchased a German Shepherd from us in the past: puppies, protection dogs, police/security dogs. Your healthy, vaccinated dog is welcome to attend with you, however may not be able to be with you at all times, depending upon which events you participate in. Attendees are to be responsible for the actions/defecations of their dog. We will have free training tips, information relevant to the breed, and hands-on training.
